As this weather is so perfect for some lovely coctails.  I am sharing some of my favorite cocktails recipes I have learned at the Mix it up event .

Side note: please do responsibly and yes I also included a nonalcoholic one at the end.2015-06-05-id1331-2015-06-05-14-18-22-bc9a17292015-06-05-id1331-2015-06-05-14-20-37-bc9a17432015-06-05-id1331-2015-06-05-14-28-28-bc9a1782

Last week I went on a cocktail crash course to spice up my cocktail making skills. As you might know I already made 2 signature cocktails the other week (don’t worry if you missed those, you can find the article here) and that really had me craving for more. That’s why I had to go to the Mix it Up cocktail event.2015-06-05-id1331-2015-06-05-14-34-27-bc9a1797

The mix it up event was basically an event to learn me and fellow bloggers and press how to make some delicious cocktails. The event was in promotion of the cocktail recipes website thebar.com. Due to launch at the beginning of July.

I think we drink far to less cocktails as Men and I don’t know why. I think cocktails are a great break in-between a vodka lime or even a beer.

On the site you will find various cocktails for you to try out yourself, by yourself, or how I like to do it, with my friends. But before you head onto the website, I will share my favorite cocktail recipes I made that day.2015-06-05-id1331-2015-06-05-15-19-13-bc9a1950I call it, Luiquer Lemonade:

1 hand full of Dried Cranberry’s

6 Strawberries

1 Lemon

50 ML Of Dry Gin

Mint leaves

300 ML of Tonic or sparkling water

4 spoons of red fruit Jam

8 ice cubes

It’s so easy. Just squash the Jam together with the Strawberries into your glass. Add the 8 Ice cubes and the 50ML dry gin. Next you add the dried cranberry’s and mix it all together. FInally you add the Tonic or sparkling water and finish it off with a slice of lemon! Delicious, easy and so fruity!
