Photographed in Norfolk, United Kingdom by photographer Karim Sadli the COS AW16 campaign focusses on the concept of ‘New Nature’; by taking inspiration from nature and the ecosystems for cultural and technological innovation. Envisioned through the bond between human beings and the living systems that surround us is expressed in bold new ways. Jonathan Kaye has taken this inspiration to create the looks for the campaign modelled by Vanessa Axente and Mathias Lauridsen. The direction behind the COS AW16 collection is rethought functionality combined with everyday decadence. Inspired by the intense colors found in the backdrop of Lynette Yiadom Boakye’s paintings, the palette for this season is composed of dark navy, intense blue, ochre, burgundy and forest green.
